General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The underlying cause of intermenstrual vaginal bleeding is altered hormone levels from different issues.

* The primary control would be intake of progesterone ( as NCNorm P5 mg or others ) which is Progestin-only pill for a duration of 3-5 days along with tranexamic acid or ethamsylate.

* After the stoppage of the last dose of NCNorm P , you will get withdrawal bleeding within the next 4-5 days and later on to regulate the regular cycle, you will require combination contraceptive pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
