What Causes Inter Menstrual Periods?

Last 21 Oct. onward I got periods 3 times. Doctor is telling this because of hormone problem. my age is 45. periods is not like liquid many times its like clots. I undergone Pop-smear test and uterus mouth cancer test. But everything is normal. But I have a cyst in the size of 3.4X3.2 mm. in my right ovary. Please suggest me the reason and the solution for my problem. Thank you.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand well your concern. You do not worry at all. Every thing is ok with you as your age is 45 in your age there is chances of abnormal period and you have cyst in ovary so you got period thrice in a month. I want to know whether your cyst is simple or complex in ultrasound ? if its simple then nothing to do just repeat ultrasound after 3 month.Tnak you.
