General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

Yes, you could definitely have another episode of bleeding after taking the Plan B contraceptive, sometimes with more discomfort and cramping than usual. It is to be expected, and the next menstruation may appear to not fit in the usual cycle as well. Seek help if there is heavy bleeding, with large clots, or if you are in severe pain/unwell e.g. giddiness, lethargic. Also take note that if the next period is much delayed, a pregnancy test should still be considered.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Teh
