What Causes Intense Pain And Vaginal Bleeding During Intercourse?
Hello... While having sex with my partner for the past couple of months I've noticed that even with fore play and me being " in the mood" we noticed that when he first tries to insert his penis no matter how gentle he is it is painful and it causes some bleeding but once we continue and we get into the groove the pain goes away and so does the bleeding what could this mean?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Painful intercourse can be due to vaginal dryness or less vaginal lubrication. It can arise due to low level of estrogen (especially if you are near 40s), insufficient arousal, anxiety, vaginal infection, etc. You should use lubricants during sex. Lubricants make sex less uncomfortable rather than for long-term vaginal lubrication. Alternatively vaginal moisturizers can be an effective way to minimize vaginal dryness over several days with one application.
Vaginal bleeding during sexual intercourse may also indicate cervix problem. Cervix is lower part of uterus. So this should not be ignored & a pap smear test is advised to ruleout cervix abnormality.
If problem persist visit a gynaecologist Hope this information helps
