Hi, welcome to HCM. Thanks for asking your query at this forum.
We understand your concern. I have read your question carefully and understood it. I will try my best to answer it.

As you told, you are not getting sleep at night and next day you are escaping your meals and keep sleeping for whole day. Due to this sudden rhythmic change in sleep pattern, you are having fast of more than 15-18 hrs at a time. Fasting so long causes reduction in blood glucose level. In a normal person, when such a situation arises body generates glucose from body reserves; but if person goes to sleep, it gives a clue of relatively inactive state and glucose generation from reserves is also minimum. Apparently this is happening with you and you are having reduced blood glucose level at day time, resulting in poor glucose supply to brain causing dizziness, weakness and giddiness.

I suggest you to break this altered sleep pattern by avoiding sleeping at day time. You should take regular meals in time.

You should adopt a de-stressing life pattern for reducing anxiety and for promoting sound sleep at night by-
- getting up from bed before sunrise;
- doing moderate exercise, meditation and yoga regularly;
- avoiding caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol;
- having enough time for recreation and socialization;
- listening soothing slow music at evening;
- spending some quality time with family members and pets;
- and by learning to take help of others at the time of crisis.

Hopefully with these lifestyle changes you will be able to get relaxed with sound sleep. If needed you may be prescribed few anxiolytics and sedatives for some days to help induction of sleep in time.

I hope it answers your query. I wish you all the best.
