Hi,
Hyperthyroidism occurs due to excess release of thyroxine hormone.
This hormone has overall effect on body metabolism and vital organs like brain, heart kidneys. Excess of thyroid hormone increases metabolism, heart rate and stimulates the activity of the nervous system. These activities have overall effects on the body, leading to fatigue,
restlessness, sweat,
nervousness, loss of sleep or insomnia.
These symptoms however are not permanent as soon as the disease is brought under control or treated and thyroxine level comes to normal, these subside. You definitely need to monitor your T3, T4, TSH levels. You may need other blood tests as well. I suggest you visit to a hospital and get yourself seen by an
endocrinologist so that problem can be addressed as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
