What Causes Inflammation On The Left Lower Leg?

Hi my fiance has his left calf down to foot skin tight and red. Possibly circulation issue. He is post surgical from 01/06/2017, where he had brain surgery for benign tumor on left side. he has been doing great until yesterday when the leg is red. when I press the leg it shows white similar to sunburn. No pain involved.

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern

1. It seems possibly to be a case of DVT [deep vein thrombosis] so check with a vascular surgeon or visit an Emergency Room to rule out the same and do exclude risk factors like smoking, being overweight since blood clot tend to break off and may reach either the:
- lungs causing pulmonarry embolism
- heart [heart attack]
- brain [stroke]

PS. Since he is a post surgical issue thus check with his INR [international normalised ratio] values
