General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, hot flashes after total hysterectomy (which involves both of the ovaries ) is surely related to estrogen deficiency most likely. As the latest thyroid stimulating hormone report is of 0.8, there can be borderline alteration in thyroid hormone levels as well, which requires evaluation wit free T3 and free T4 for further correspondence. The issue sounds to require hormone replacement therapy with correction of thyroid status if any alteration in thyroid hormone levels as well.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
