What Causes Hot Flashes On The Face And Throat?

Hi. I am a 59 year old female. I am having a strange hot feeling on my face and in the back of my throat. I don t flush or sweat. My face doesn t feel hot to the touch, and it isn t the same as a hot flash. My lab work is all in normal limits. I checked my blood pressure which was in my normal limits. No new meds. This is happening when I am on the toilet. I am not straining.
