I started my premonapose before 3 years and this year I m in monapose cause my period stoped now for this whole year with no symptoms how ever before a month I started to have hot flashes and trouble sleeping lose in memory and sad unhappy with my life is that possible and will that continue and till when
Lower levels of female hormones like estrogen is the cause of menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. Hormonal therapy with oral or estrogen patches can be used after thorough clinical examination since it may cause adverse effects in many women. Drugs like clonidine or gabapentin may also be useful.
Avoid triggers like caffeine, smoking can reduce the symptoms. Drinking plenty of fluids and mild physical exercise, wearing breathable fabrics can improve the symptoms.
