What Causes Hoarness?

HI. I have been feeling bad since Saturday morning. I woke up hoarse, but by the evening was feeling better. Sunday the hoarseness was back, but felt fine. Monday and tuesday developed a dry, non-productive cough that leaves a metallic taste in my mouth. By last night (Wed) I felt achy and fatigued. At one point became light headed. Today I feel like I've ran a marathon and am exhausted. Still have the cough, all I want to do is sleep.
