What Causes High Sgot And Sgpt?

Hey doctor, My mother aged 42 years recently got a blood test done in which her SGOT and SGPT levels are 141 and 224 units/lit. respectively. What can you say about the severity of the rise ?
Could you please help me with the cause of this same and suggest some measures to reduce these levels.

are you obese or have abdominal obesity. Likely cause for this fatty liver which occurs due to deposition of fat in liver. There are medicine for it but also low fat and oily diet, low sugar diet and regular exercises will help to decrease the levels.
Also other causes like viral hepatitis should be ruled out, so get viral test done like HBsAg, Anti HCV. Are u consuming any drugs, medicine or alcohol, if yes alcohol should be stopped and drugs should be reviewed for liver toxicity.
