with in the past 1/3 hour my fever went from 98.3 to 102.2

For about 2 hours I have been freezing and could not get warm. my body aches from head to my toes. My hands hurt too and they are swolen

your fever is suggestive of infection , most probably bacterial

I would like to know more about your symptoms
Kindly provide a detailed history , do u have any cough? sore thorat? burning micturatoin? increased urination? Gastro intestinal disturbance? any other associated symptom.

I would also like to investigate you properly
kindly provide results of
Blood complete picture
ESR
Blood culture and sensitivity
Urine r/e
Blood MP
Urine culture and sensitivity
Chest X-ray

for now start a broad spectrum antibiotic such as co-amoxiclav 625 mg twice daily and paracetamol 500mg thrice daily for fever and aches

we will switch antibiotic after getting culture reports
