My granddaughter, 4 months old has small blisters on both hands, and one blister on her foot. No other symptoms. 2 weeks ago her daycare was closed due to foot and mouth disease. She had really high fever...103...for 3 days then, but no blisters. After the fever left there were no other symptoms. what is happening?

Hi,

Dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. But there is a common virus that causes blisters on the Hand, Foot, and typically near the mouth. It is associated with high fever and this can trigger seizures. There is children's tylenol but be very careful with the dosage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
