What Causes High Fat Content In Stool?

I just was told I have a high fat content in my stools and have been suffering for the past several months from IBS but without any pain or cramping, just having 6 or 7 bowel movements a day. I am 66, 5'5", weight 127, exercise regularly, just had a complete blood workup with everything being perfect. I eat very little fiber as I cannot tolerate wheat or fruit. My diet is mostly chicken, fish, vegetables, salads, and no fast food. I do use olive oil for everything and butter as well. Is a high fat content an indication of a serious problem? Stress is a major trigger to my bowel problem, and I have a lot of stress at work.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, what the finding you have needs to be correlates with the clinical symptoms you have, if no symptoms are not there then it is nothing to worry, IBS is the functional kind of disease so try to come out of this try to control your thoughts, try to come out of the stress, else no need to worry about this, hope this information helps.
