What Causes Hiccups After Swallowing Fish Bone?

I was seen at the ER for a possible fishbone in the throat they didn t see anything they only have taken an x ray and now after a few days at knight when I m sleeping there s a hiccup like but that s not what it is and also I keep getting build up and a slight coughing today it awakened me

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of possible fish bone impaction in the throat, but that was a few days ago.
Unfortunately most of the fish bone may not be seen in the X-ray.
I would advise you the following in view of the Hiccoughs that you have developed.
Upper GI Endoscopy and ultrasonography to see if there is any problem in the liver irritating the diaphragm.
