General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain and numbness in the foot can be related to peripheral neuropathy. It a a common symptom in diabetes. I suggest using painkillers such as Gabapentin to relieve the symptoms. If the symptoms continue, you should see a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
