What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Despite Taking Pause-Mf?
i am 42 yrs old. i hv heavy bleeding for last 2-3 months. doctor made dnc and also after 15 days my mensus started & it goes for 15 days. doctor suggest me to take Meprate 10g afer 15 days of period. What can u suggest me what to do to stop heavy bleeding even after taking pause -mf tablet. no use.
Hello dear I understand your concern Heavy menstrual bleeding could be due to fibroid, adenomyosis, endometriosis, hormonal imbalance, endometrial dysplasia. I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, endometrial biopsy to confirm cause.
Specific treatment depend on cause. In resistant case again D & C should be due done. If problem persists then endometrial ablation and hysterectomy is the final option. Blood transfusion should done to restore blood volume. Take healthy diet with iron and vitamin supplements, drink plenty if water and maintain proper pelvic hygiene Hope this may help you
Contact further if follow up needed Best regards Dr. Sagar
