What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Taking Abortion Pills?

Could any one please help me with this, I am 27 years old got pregnant and to abort that I have taken medicine..got heavy bleeding 5-7 days after that bleeding continued till one month. When ultrasound done, doctor tried to tell me ultrasound results in medical terms but I am unable to understand it. Hence please see below and advise the if there is something serious in ultrasound result. IMPRESSION:normal size uterus showing focal open endometrial cavity in fundal region app. 3mm showing minimal fluid collection.left ovarian thick walled complex cystic lesion size app.42mm x 40 mm x 44mm.volume app.40mI.No e/o free fluid collection in P.O.D.at the time of scan.ADVICE: clinical correlation and further investigations as per requirements.

Your ultrasound reports an empty cavity, which would have been the gestational sac. This basically means that you have successfully aborted ypur fetus.

There also appears to be a lesion (possibly a cyst?) in your left ovary, please speak to your doctor about it. Nothing more to report.
