General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history of angina & are on prescription medications b your treating doctor. Do continue to take the medications prescribed by your doctor.

Low blood sugar level, electrolyte abnormalities, anemia, abnormal heart rhythms & smoking causes palpitations.

To avoid palpitations you should stop taking alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, stress & anxiety.

You are suggested to maintain a healthy weight, do regular exercises & stay hydrated. Take adequate rest.

Visit ER, get CBC, Urinalysis, ECG, Echocardiography, Stress test, X-ray done to rule out any developing coronary artery disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
