What Causes Heart Palpitations, Pain In The Left Arm And Shoulder Pain?

I have heart flutters and palpitations. My left arm and shoulder blade ache a lot. I’ve had every single heart test done that isn’t invasive. Including a cardiac MRI and everything came back normal. What else could it be that is causing my palpitations and left arm and shoulder pain?

Hi,

As per your clinical history, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Cardio] and to confirm, do [Coronary angiography].

2) Do take prescribed medicines and do [Angioplasty and stenting] if confirmed by angiogram tests.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Try to stop smoking and avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.

2) Try to reduce your weight If you're overweight, talk to your doctor about weight-loss options.

3) If you have diabetes, make sure that it is well-controlled and that you're following an optimal diet and exercise plan.

4) Try to avoid exertion, it's helpful to pace yourself and take rest breaks.

5) Try to avoid large meals.

6) Try to avoiding stress.

7) Try to eat a healthy diet with lots of whole grains, many fruits and vegetables, and limited amounts of saturated fat and talk to your doctor about starting a safe exercise plan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
