Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read your question carefully and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to anxiety and
high blood pressure.
Are you being treated for high blood pressure?
The values of your diastolic blood pressure ( more than your systolic blood pressure values) indicate a high blood pressure.
I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical examianation, a resting ECG, a chest x ray and some blood lab tests (
complete blood count,
thyroid hormone levels, blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, kidney and liver function test), to exclude other secondary causes of high blood pressure.
You should discuss with your doctor the possibility of starting an antihypertensive therapy.
In the meantime, I would also recommend avoid caffeine intake and salt in your food and have a lot of physical activity.
If your symptoms persist even with the above measures, I would recommend consulting with an anxiety specialist, to help you manage your anxiety.
Yoga,
meditation and
psychotherapy are helpful!
Hope to have been of help!
Best regards,
Dr. Aida
