General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Lupus is an autoimmune disease & it presents with symptoms like unexplained fever, joint pains, extreme fatigue, ankle swelling, headache, body ache, hair loss, etc. You are having symptoms of lupus.

Visit the ER, get a follow up physical examination done. Your treating doctor may tell you to take a repeat antinuclear antibody test to evaluate the severity of Lupus you are suffering from.

You may need a change in the medication and treatment of the complications.

In the meantime do regular exercises, take enough sleep & do healthy eating, avoid smoking, alcohol & addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
