What Causes Hard Lumps And Blood Clots In Left Leg With History Of Having Knee Replacement?

I have had a knee replacement October 2014 on my left leg. I was given blood thinner because I had a blood clot in my left leg over30 years ago. I am very concerned because on the same leg I have on both sides of the leg I have hard lumps above my ankles and the lumps are sore to the touch. I have been told to drink plenty of water,it could be fluid and elevate my legs and have my leg massage. Please, can you help me!Help needed inPiscataway, New Jersey!

Hi,

Physical examination can tell or may be varicose veins which needs USG test or can be infection. There many reasons. You should once consult a local physician to rule out severity, symptomatic. You can apply icy hot arthritis lotion (camphor, menthol topical).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
