Hello,

What I understand with the history is that there may be 3 possibilities of injury for the reason of this shocking pain.

First, you have to differentiate that is it a shock kind pain or tingling pain. Based on that we can come to some provisional diagnosis.

If there is compression of the nerve beneath the flexor retinaculum at the wrist level then you may face one. the second is if the nerve is getting compressed in the elbow region due to muscle weakness or the third one is the nerve entrapment in the spinal column.

We need to definitely assess this as this doesn't sound of the higher motor function issue at all. but a peripheral issue.

Until we come to a conclusion giving you a diagnosis will be just like making you panic for no reason.

I recommend you to meet up an orthopaedic to rule out the possible cause and the proper diagnosis as some diagnosis are made only when we have a physical hands on.

But in all the above mentioned provisional diagnosis I feel that with exercise and care you should perform well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
