I am a 62 year old man. I constantly take trips to the bathroom. Medically everything checks out no problems with my prostate. I do yearly physicals. However this constant urge is really affecting my life. I am physically active have a proper diet and take multivitamins. Is there any over the counter medications you can recommend?
- More alcohol drinking and caffeine lead to frequent urination.
- Anxiety may cause this problem.
- Diabetic insipidus may ruled out. Bladder stone also lead to this type of symptoms.
- Over active bladder or injury to bladder lead to frequent urination.
Consult a nephrologist for further diagnosis. Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems. Urine test and microscopic examination to detect any infection present or not. Clinical corelation with symptoms helpful for diagnosis.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care. Thank you.
