General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

No flushing cannot be due to withdrawal of Metoprolol. Its sudden withdrawal can increase blood pressure which never causes flushing. If you don't have other symptoms then it might be due to hormonal changes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
