What Causes Flank Pain On The Right Side Along With Sneezing?

I have had a right side flank pain for a week now, I first thought it was muscular but I m not sure. I feel like I m fighting the flu as well, as I have been sneezing a lot witch makes the flank pain worse, I feel cold but wake up in the middle of the night with a fever. I m 47 and recently returned from a 2 week cruise from Sydney to Singapore and 10 days in Vietnam. I haven t felt right since my return.

hi,
your clinical history shows that you have primarily respiratory infection that resulted in fever, sneezing etc
some time repeated snezzing or coughing may produce pain in the muscle that are used in these acivities .so the flankpain may be secondary to it.

you may require blood tests or other investigation to find out the respiratory infectious cause.

once your respiratory symtomes are relieved, other pain may be relieved there after.
I find this answer helpful
