What Causes Fever And Pain While Walking After Taking DPT Vaccination?
Hello Dr, My son is 10 yrs+ and given DPT vaccination(he has missed one dpt vaccination) , after the injection he is having fever n pain when he walks, how to ease the pain ? giving dollo syrup for fever . now fever has reduced but pain still continues, pls suggest how to handle this

DPT and other intramuscular vaccines can cause fever and body pain, it is a quite normal phenomenon and will last for few weeks. As of now you can take over the counter available drugs like paracetamol for symptomatic relief.
