Hi, my 4 year old son woke up last Sunday with a fever and complaining of neck pain. On the Monday and Tuesday his neck was tilted to the side and he would not move it...took him to hospital to be checked and they said it was a crick in the neck and to just give him pain relief, they wouldn t give a collar as they want him to move it. But it s been a week and he is still not moving it, and is awake in pain all night long even with pain relief. He won t let me touch his neck and he won t allow me to put ice or heat pad on for 20 minutes. I m at a loss of what to do. How long does this crick in the neck last?
