Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that these heart rate changes are quite normal after physical activity.

You should know that physical activity and emotional stress can activate the sympathetic nervous system, leading to increased circulating levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline, which cause a raise in heart rate.

The heart rate normalizes gradually after these substances are metabolized by our body.

Anyway, the situation is different in different individuals, but you have nothing to be concerned of.

Anxiety can also trigger this clinical scenario (especially the ticles in this region).

But the ticles radiating to the midle finger could indicate also a nerve compression in the arm or the cervical spine. That is why I would recommend performing a cervical spine X ray and a nerve conduction study to exclude this possible disorder.

Hope to have been helpful!

Wishing all the best,

Dr. Iliri
