What Causes False Positive Test Results For Methadone?
I have been testing positive for methadone and I have not taken any. Here is the medications that I do take. Albutrol (ventolinHFA),Albuterol-ipratropium (combivent respimat),aspirin 81 mg, atenolol(tenormin), buproion (wellbutrin),diltiazem(cardizem cd),glucosamine-chondroit-vit c-mn,levothyroxine(synthroid), lisinopril (prinivil, zestril),multiple vit-mineral,omega-3 fattyacid,omeprazole (prilosec),oxycodone-acetaminophen (endocet) and cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) Thank you Ken

Hello Dear. Sometimes lab tests can give false positive reactions. Methadone is an opioid analgesic. Since you are taking other analgesics too it can be a false positive reaction.
