What Causes Fainting With Blue Foam In Mouth?

A guy that was working on my sisters house fainted and when we were notified of this we found him blue and foam coming from his mouth & nose. We tried cpr but it didnt helo he ended up dieing.The guy he was working with said right before he fainted he said his necked hurt & he felt nauses. What was this cause by?

It sounds like he had a severe heart attack and acute heart failure. Nausea and pain in neck, jaw, chest, or left arm commonly occur with a heart attack. His heart then stopped beating and he fainted and stopped breathing. An event like this is called "sudden death." It may occur as the first symptom in people with underlying heart disease who don't know about the heart disease. Hope this answers your question.
