What Causes Extreme Sleepiness Before And After Intake Of Food?
For several months, I have been experiencing bouts of extreme sleepiness before or after meals. My heart condition and carotid artery flow has been checked. For the first time since I can remember, I am beginning to lose hair from a very healthy head of hair (especially for my age: almost 78 years). Are these sings of a possible thyroid problem? Thank you

Yes, it is possible that it is related to the thyroid. Anemia, low Hb, can also cause these symptoms to occur. Both a thyroid function test and complete blood count should be done to assess these areas.
