What Causes Extreme Left-sided Pain In Lower Abdomen And Kidney Infection?
Hi I have had extreme pain in my left lower abdomen for a few weeks. i went to an ER they decided I had kidney infection gave me Keflex it got better while I was on antibiotics but I am in great pain again. It hurts from my groin all the way thru my back inly on the left side.

Renal colickly pain should be investigated for the cause.you should have USG,CT ABDOMEN, as early as possible to look for the cause.
Also infection to Urinary Tract including kidneys specially above bladder level mostly present with fever.,pain alone should be investigated.
