Suggest Treatment For Severe Kidney Infection

I have a kidney infection. I went to a redi med pace which have no Dr s, and he gave me ciprofloxacin 250 i read the interaction pamplets and it says it causes heart problems which i have palps a lot and there is heart problems in my family. Also I have fibro and it says it can cause central nervous problems. I call him back to have him change script but he said that none of those things will both me taking them.

Hi,

Yes, you are right that with Cipro such problem possibly can occur. However, these problems are extremely rare and are reversible by stopping the drug.

For a UTI we won't use for a very long time so it's mostly safe to use it. Most of the times it does not cause any problem of heart or brain.

We use it quite commonly and does not cause any serious problem. However, don't use it if you have an allergy to it.
