What Causes Extreme Fatigue And Sleepiness While On Venlafaxine, Mirtazapine And Klonopin?

I am on venlafaxine and Mirtazipine for my depression. I take 2 mg of Klonopin a day and zanex .05 mg if needed. I find all of the medications are ruining the quality of my life because I sleep all the time. I have no energy and find it hard to even do a load of laundry. Why are Drs. So afraid of improving the quality of life for someone who needs it. I never seen my grandkids because I have no energy to fly to Colorado. What s the big deal here?

Mirtazepinr, Klonopin and Xanax are sedatives.
Excessive daytime sleepiness can be a symptom of depression itself, however we need to consider if there are societies symptoms of low mood, loss of interest in daily routine activities, etc.
I would suggest you to reconsult your treating psychiatrist for few changes in medications, which are as follows
dosage of Klonopin can be reduced to 1 mg a day, taking only at bed time.
avoid using Xanax or Klonopin during day time.
Mirtazepine can be used at bed time as it produces sedation.
Try to use Klonopin and Xanax in least possible doses and during bedtime.
kindly discuss these suggestions with your treating consultant.
