What Causes Extreme Fatigue And Raised Bumps On The Arms And Chest?

I feel extremely fatigued, tired and out of breath easily despite the fact I work out regularly and run. I have started to have raised bumps on the inside of my arms, chest, and abdomen that get very itchy if I get too much sun or sweat during exercise. My stomach is easily upset and even small amounts of alcohol make me feel drunk. I m working crazy hours these days but never experienced this feeling of being unwell before.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It looks like you are stressed up, exhausted & fatigued. Take a little rest, adequate sleep, maintain your sodium, potassium balance of the body, stay hydrated.

If you are sexually active & have multiple partners; raised bumps in the arms & chest can be indicative of STD, contact dermatitis or herpes.

You are suggested to visit a GP or a dermatologist get physically examined & assessed. Get STD tests done so that you can be treated at the earliest if test results are positive. You may need antibiotics/ antivirals.

Maintain your hygiene, take showers twice daily, wear cotton clothes. Avoid sex while you are being treated.

Cut on alcohol, smoking or addictions if any. Take nutritious food rich in calcium, iron & protein. Take multivitamin tabs/cap.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
