Hello! Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms may be related to sleep apnea. Do you feel sleepy during the day? This situation, doesn t seem to be related to the episode of chocking. A psychological disorder can not be excluded too. I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination and some blood lab tests : -complete blood count (possible anemia) -thyroid hormone levels (thyroid gland function) -cortisol plasma levels (adrenal gland function) - fasting glucose - blood electrolytes - blood gas analysis - kidney and liver function tests.
