What Causes Excessive Sweating And Extreme Tiredness Upon Physical Activity?

I have recently had episodes of breaking out in a sweat, sudden tiredness, and feeling like I can t continue activity easily. Have had this especially when on my feet, like with golfing, on warm and sunny days. i try to stay hydrated. I am usually active with golf, hiking and biking but the temperature, humidity and sun seem to now bother me greatly. Suggestions?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a metabolic disorder.

For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:

- blood electrolytes for possible imbalance

- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction

- kidney and liver function tests

- complete blood count for anemia

- fasting glucose levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
