What Causes Excessive Sweating Along With Body Chills?

I am having periodic acute sweating (today only) along with shaking hands. I ve eaten recently and the shakes went away. But now I m having chills. Is it all related to blood sugar or am I getting sick? I m at work and don t want to expose anyone, but I also don t want to leave anyone in the lurch.

Hello,

Excessive sweating is commonly due to the common cold, viral infections, Mononucleosis, dehydration, anemia, hypoglycemia, hypotension, thyroid issues.

Stay hydrated, take soups, juice & ORS. Take home made nutritious food rich in iron, calcium & protein. Take warm beverages, stay comfortable.

Keep your blood pressure blood sugar under control. Avoid stress 7 anxiety.

Mono is contagious, do not share your drinks or utensils. You are suggested to visit ER, get physically examined, get the investigation done.

You may need antibiotics & intravenous support of fluids. Hope I have answered your question.
