What Causes Excessive Sneezing And Bitter Taste In The Mouth?
I've been sneezing off and on since Monday morning. Late in the afternoon I brushed my teeth and had a bitter taste on the back of my tongue for the rest of the day/night. Tuesday it was fine. Wednesday after a sneezing fit it was there a little bit. After brushing it was there. Later in the night, after sneezing I could feel it lessen and then it became salty.
You can be advised antibiotics in case of bacterial infection. Along with it do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use saline nasal drops. If it is due to allergies, anti allergics and steroid nasal spray can be advised. To mask the taste chew flavoured sugar free chewing gum and flavoured antiseptic mouthwash.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
