What Causes Excessive Discharge And Burning Sensation In The Vagina?
Good day, I ve been experiencing a lot of discharge and burning sensation around my vagina, this was before my period and after my period it continued and I also noticed a layer of dead skin start to peel off from my but, I guess it s coz of the sanitary towel I used, it felt rough all the time I used it. I basically need help concerning the discharge and pain. Thanks

It can be a sexually or non sexually transmitted infection or can be due to injury by rough sex
1. Gonorrhea and chlamydia are two of the most common causes of Vaginal discharge, early diagnosis and start antibiotics will help you
2. Urinary tract infections with increased frequency of urination , irritation during urination, lower abdominal pain - urine culture will help to diagnose
3. Urethritis - damage to the urethra from intercourse or masturbation, irritation from a product, such as soap, deodorant, or detergent, denovirus, genital injuries
4. Candida infection can also cause watery discharge with itching . smear from the discharge will help you diagnose and start early anti fungal medication.
5. Trichomoniasis infection can cause vaginal discharge too can be diagnosed by swab or urine sample
