What Causes Enlarged Lymph Nodes In The Groin Area?

I just came from a very uncomfortable vaginal check for lesions (because I have some enlarged lymph nodes in my groin), then gave a urine sample. The offc just called to say I have a slight amount of blood in my urine. Could that be from the Pap smear and lesion check? There were no lesions.

Hi,

The blood in urine can possibly may not be due to pap smear or so.
It may indicate some urinary system problem.
Since you have mentioned about groin swelling or lymph nodes the best to get a proper diagnosis is as follows:
Request for Ultrasonography and guided FNAC of the lymph nodes.
This will give a definite diagnosis.
Relevant blood tests as per your past history may help further to know the exact cause and thus treated accordingly.
Pap smear will tell about the possibility and guide for further management as needed.
