What Causes Elevated TSH Levels?

i have had hypothyroidism for many years and now my thyroid test says my count is too high. my dr lowered my dose and since then Ihave been tired and Iv had dihrriea for 3 weeks straight. My next apt is not for 2 more weeks and i dont know what to do. CAN YOU HELP? thanjs Jean

I'm going to assume you meant your TSH level was too high--it needs to be around 2.0 or less.

You need to call your doctor and tell him if your TSH level was high you needed to increase, not decrease the dosage of your medication
