General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Shock like pain is surely indicative of nerve involvement. It is necessary to find out the cause, the area of pinching of the nerve hence needs clinical examination by an orthopedic surgeon. MRI of cervical spine, shoulder. Consultation and therapy by a Physiotherapist may help you further. Till then do not do anything that increases stress on the right upper limp. Give rest to the right upper limb by putting it into a sling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
