ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi, from your history it appears you have a condition called Acute Otitis Media. This happens when you have a recent cold or water entering the nose and then going to ears via a ventilation tube (eustachian Tube). Thats why first you had decreased hearing and blocked feeling, later when it gets infected it causes pain. You need to take decongestants and antibiotics for 5 days. Tab Augmentin 625mg twice daily for 5 days, Tab Claritin (loratidine) 10mg once daily for 5 days, Otrivin nasal drops/spray (Xylometazoline HCL) three times daily for 5 days and some pain killer for few days.
