What Causes Ear Pain And Breast Soreness While On Methylprednisolone For Sinusitis?

I went to new doc due to new insurance, for ongoing sinu s problem (7mths now). I could only get in to see aNP and told her I was afraid I had mold in my sinu s due to our last house having mold. I have also had severe headaches at the top of my head so bad that I thought my eyes and ears would bleed. She prescribed methylprednisolone. I took one pill and felt worse, ear pain now, breast got very sore. I then looked up what this scrip was and it says DO NOT TAKE IF YOU HAVE FINGAL INFECTION .....correct me if I m wrong but isn t mold a fungus ?? Now I don t know what to do. I also have asthma. I have taken decongestants, anti histamine etc, nothing works.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi. I understand ur concern. Now coming on to ur problem 1stly yes mold is a fungus. There is a very high possibility that u may have fungal (mold) infection. Now confirm that i would like u to consult a physician n get ur blood test done for fungal infection (MELISA) test. This is all you can do for starters.. tc.
