Hi.
Noted your short history of feeling water in left ear on getting up i the morning as it the ear is drowning,
The commonest cause is
Eustachian tube dysfunction.
The basic cause may be in the
sinuses or nose.
The fluid from nose goes to the middle ear and thus fluid build up causing less or no movement of ear drum and thus the symptoms
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, ENT
Endoscopy and investigations like
CT scan of nose and sinuses.
Relevant investigations of blood.
Once a proper diagnosis is done it is possible to have proper diagnosis.
Nasal decongestant drops.
Anti-inflammatory medicines.
Oral decongestants.
Multivitamins and minerals.
All these taken for a proper duration of time which can be more than 3 weeks.
Also watch for the allergens in air, dust, mold, mildew and so on that instigate or enhance your problems and avoid these altogether.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
