General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your history pain may be due to:
- Constipation, another contributing factor for abdominal discomfort in the postpartum period
- High progesterone levels in a woman's body (leftover from pregnancy)
- Hemorrhoids
- Reduced physical activity after delivery
- A low-fiber diet

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar, General & Family Physician
